The Tower Climber
This client was a difficult one. He was a Tower Climber in the seventies. He only had one photo to remember that time by. He wanted an image for his wall that reminded him of that time along with the genre aesthetics. We worked the image a few times to get more depth and a gritty feel.
A Childhood Summer, digitally created from memory
This might look like an ordinary landscape — but it's actually a childhood memory. Our client spent her summers visiting her grandparents' cabin in Maine, and this view was the backyard she grew up loving. With no photographs to work from, we collaborated closely with her, refining every detail from memory until the water, the little island, and the wildflower-dotted shoreline felt exactly right. Rendered as an oil painting, it's a place she can finally hang on her wall.

This client only had an old photo of her father, who was a tug boat captain, but did not have him on one of his tugboats. We designed this image of Captain Jack in the steering house of his tugboat — placing him exactly where her memories of him lived.
Miss Kitty — From the Alley
This client wanted to capture the exotic, untamed side of her cat MK — Miss Kitty — who spent years as a feral cat before becoming a purring, bed-hogging, loving baby. The owner wanted a wall hanging that honored her alley-cat roots. We darkened the image with colored-pencil strokes and focused on her mismatched green eyes, capturing that unmistakable expression: "I'm from the alley — don't mess with me."
